MARKET KITCHEN REFRESH
New menus at Warner Hotels

15th July 2024

A group of guests dining in the Market Kitchen at a Warner Hotel

July saw the launch of an appetising new menu in our buffet restaurant, Market Kitchen. Tuck into refreshed deli items, starters, and desserts across our hotels and villages and delight the senses with an array of much-loved dishes, designed to make your meal memorable.

We’ve also introduced NGCI (Non-Gluten Containing Ingredient) and vegan menus, as well as chef specials.

Deli bar delights

Start off your meal with a visit to our refreshed deli bar, adorned with delectable produce. Pick and choose from a variety of salads, cold meats and fish, fresh bakery items, dips and more, packed full of delicious flavours.

Our favourites:

  • Coronation Cauliflower Salad – creamy curry mayonnaise dotted with juicy pomegranate seeds and sultanas
  • Deep-filled quiches – buttery pastry paired with cheesy fillings using Cropwell Blue and Barbers Vintage Cheddar
  • Beetroot and dill smoked trout – complimented by shaved fennel and orange

Pea & ham soup -

Scrumptious starters

Fancy a warming bowl of soup or one of our small plates that’s big on flavour? Our new starters bring together the very best of British ingredients with a modern flair.

Why not try:

  • Steamed Asian Buns – light, fluffy buns filled with honey, soy, and sesame seeds
  • Dippy Asparagus and Parmesan Brioche Soldiers – a grown-up take on egg and soldiers. Dip to your heart’s content into heavenly English mustard and blue cheese hollandaise
  • Gloucestershire Smoked Salmon – fresh and vibrant, served with devilled egg, parmesan crisp and orange dressing

Desserts that’ll make you say ‘Oh, go on then!’

Indulge in one of our after dinner treats for a satisfyingly sweet conclusion to your meal. Tick from an array of new desserts, featuring much-loved classics alongside modern twists that’ll be a real talking point of the table:

  • Edible Flowerpot – mango cheesecake, biscuit crumb, and edible flowers – all disguised as a flowerpot!
  • Tea & Biscuit – the classic combination but not as you know it! Tea-infused custard pudding served with a giant bourbon biscuit
  • Chocolate Orange Dome – brownie, fresh orange, served with a hot chocolate sauce

David Partridge, Head of Food & Beverage Development at Warner Hotels, said “We’re really excited for our guests to experience the changes in the Market Kitchen. Our new menus emphasize seasonal dishes, with our chefs using fresh produce to create mouthwatering starters, deli items and desserts. My personal favourites are the smoked salmon from Gloucestershire with devilled eggs and fresh asparagus, and our melting chocolate orange dome.”
